I have a savage .308 that I got from my father in law. The issue is that when you pull the lever up to feed in the round it high centers at the fat part of the bullet before the top of the action can clear the back of the gun. If I put the bullet in by hand it works great. I just won't feed bullets in using the normal lever action. Any suggestions?
