Just noticed last night that BSA optics are listing 3 scopes specific to the B Mag. Have been following this forum for several months and have learned a lot. Got my B Mag in December and due to the cold have only about 50 rounds down the tube. Getting 1 1/2" groups at 100 yds with bags on the hood of my Jeep. When it gets warm will set up the bench and see what it will really do. Think I have one of the good ones!

Midway charges so much for freight it would be cheaper to call savage and order clips for $21 each, I got 2 yesterday for $50 total, 2 at midway will probably cost you $58 with the way I have been charged frt in the past. and savage has then instock

DNZ scope mounts, heard you may need the high mount to avoid bolt interference.

The mod93 mounts can be made to work, for instance if you have a 30mm scope, if you cut out the connecting bar.

Has anyone adapted this to their B-Mag?

yep, I had to grind the curve off the long end flat and tweak it slightly to get it to fit on my b-mag. wasn't perfect but better than the plastic trigger guard. if they made it flat on the long (rear) end it would fit from the git go

getting another one for my SS/BH b-mag as soon I get a stock from boyds

Ref. the scope fit on the B-Mag. you will need high mount rings for the bolt handle to clear the scope. The DIP bolt knob will be a good fix for that and probably make working the bolt a little easier, as the stock bolt is a little sluggish. with the magazine for the B-Mag I found that one had to be slow on chambering the next round or they catch and stove pipe. Of course now they come out with the HB in S/S, I* jumped on the B-Mag to fast and bought mine in Oct. 2013 and shows in Mfg. on 6/12/13. Purchased a Boyd Forest Camo Thumbhole for it but might just sell thye one I have and get the H/B and do some work on the Boyd stock so it will fit.

Great thread! Thanks for putting everything in one spot. Quick noob question. I just picked up a B.Mag (bull barrel) and would like to put a bipod on it. Having zero experience with bipods, which is the bipod of choice for this gun?

TIA

minderasr, I have a Harris pivot bi-pod on my BMag. You can go with a Caldwell also but the Harris bipods in my opinion are the only way to go. The length completely depends on how you plan to shoot, prone or sitting. Hope this helps. Here's a quick link just for info on Harris but if you search around you may find a price that isn't too bad at all. This one is pretty nice.

Thanks Clint. I'll be shooting seated, so I picked up the Harris BRM. Now I just need glass for it. Are there any inexpensive hobbies out there?
