Accustock question!?

Hi:
I have a savage 11/111 and it doesnt have an accustock ... Could i buy an accustock from a savage 10 for it? Would it work? Is it worth the money? What stock would be as good or better than an accustock for my 11/111

Biy a nice boyds and bed it. I would skip the accustock. They are ok but a nice aftermarket will look and perform better. Plus uou can get any style. I have a HS precision and its great bit high$.

I was reading something on the boyds and the bottom mag plates!? That they have to be metal! I have no idea if it applies to my rifle

Boyds site says this "MUST READ: If you have a XP model with a synthetic stock, you will need to purchase the bottom metal component system through Savage or any aftermarket component supplier.
Do you know of what part they are talking about?
