So, I looked around for one, couldn't find, so decided to make one! I use the Hornady collars which helps a lot because they have a lip... used layered maple glued together, then drilled it out! Now just need some wood oil, just debating using machine oil...

I may get into making them fs... The wife tells me I need a hobby that makes money, my job is 10 on and 10 off... needless to say that much time off leads to trouble

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/18/5adu2y3a.jpgA great idea--but I'm a klutz and would eventually use the wrong die on the wrong case--or worse yet drop all of them at once on the floor. Mine stay in the boxes--as much of a pain as they are.

The dies are all stamped just above the threads. If not I would be making copious use of my label maker... as for dropping, it is pretty heavy... so you won't haphazardly knock it over

I totally understand... didn't take it personally at all, just figured supply a little clarity :-)

On a side note, just oiled the wood... sooo sexy

course ...your,s is a heck of alot nicer though.
I really didnt put much thought process into mine though. I got pist because my dies would occasionally roll off the bench. I grabed the largest bit I had, grabbed my cordless and got after it.

Great idea , my problem is I have over 90 sets of dies , I'd have to clear-cut the woods behind my house to get enough lumber to do that . For the guy with just a couple different rounds it should work slick , you could even color code them or ingrave the cartridge on the face .

I ended up using dutch oil... Came out really nice!!!

I very impressed with the quality of maple i found at home depot.... Quite vibrant and has depth to the wood
