Thought I would share a handful of pictures.

ONE, of my Savage 10TR .308 that I picked up for $350(factory setup)

I think I am about to change chassis systems, but so far it has performed very well.

These were shots 15-20 after the rifle was unboxed. Since then I have upgraded the scope and will be attaching a SilencerTechLLC sound suppressor.

Seems to be a solid performer. This is my 600y prone competition rifle. Still working with load development, but so far it seems very promising. Just thought I would share.

Man I wish I could have picked up one of those TR's for my build. Looks to be a great shooter

Why are you thinking about switching up chassis?

Very nice! Did you have to trim your base to fit the chassis?

Yes, I attempted a very precise drawn out process to trim the base to fit. I first took out a very sharp hacksaw blade and began to make my cut. After the excess was removed I took a very dull worn out file and smoothed out the edge all before hitting it with some outdoor grill paint.

It was rather easy and took no effort at all. But if you would rather it be a more professional job then Kyle at XLR industries will do the work for you with no extra cost.

Latest range session and newest paint on the 10TR.

Green rifle is a Model 10 Pred .223 also another great tack driver.

Doing some strong wind practice 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 500m targets with 25mph whipping winds and 35mph gusts... Turned out to be a great day at the range with the .308. The .223 did fine to 400m with 69gr SMKs, but the wind killed it at 500m. Mostly doing hasty fire drills shooting once at each target moving up and back down.

High shot farthest from group was initial cold bore shot. Two shots left were 2nd and 3rd shots before the rifle settled in. Not too terrible for a first 5 rounds at 100m.

Load I have been using is 43.5gr Varget with 175gr SMKs. Has the same dope as FGMM 175 SMKs.

Love my 10TR! How much was the chassis system?
