Blind Mag Removal

I just bought a benchrest single shot ramp for my newer 12 fv 223. No directions came with the product, and the blind mag, center feed, apparently needs to be removed to install the ramp. I can't get the mag out of the stock using a moderate amount of pressure, I don't want to damage the mag in case I would ever need to reinstall it. Is there some trick to removing the mag?
Also the paper that came with the ramp says friction fit or glue. I don't think I would want to glue it in and lose the option of reinstalling the mag again.

Grab the front edge of the mag with a good set of needle nose pliers and pull and rock it. It will come out.
