I recently purchased a new Model 12 VLP DBM in 308 Win. Took it out to the range a few days ago. Ran a few factory rounds through the barrel and got on paper. Then began shooting from loads I made up. Shot 3 shot groups using IMR4064 with powder weights from 44.0 grains to 46.0 grains in .5 grain increments. 150 grain Hornady flat base bullets with Nosler brass and CCI primers. In the five groups, the best was .778MOA and the worst was 1.172MOA with a five group average of .961MOA. I am extremely happy and impressed with this beautiful rifle. Now I will try to fine tune. :adoration::adoration::adoration:

Sweet, cajunfella I just ordered a Model 12 VLP DBM in 22-250 with the 9" twist. Stories like yours reassure me that I made a good choice.
