Apache 308 barrel

Won an apache 308 25" bull barrel on ebay! Installed it on my Action today. First impressions are excellent work! Chamber appears perfect and the barrel threads were probably allowed the nut and action to thread on smoother than any barrel I have. Got this to work on subsonic loads for coyotes after I have crippled two in the backyard this year with my 22 mag. Can't wait to get shooting it. Weight is now 12.5 lbs up from the 9 lb heavy sporter 243 I had on it.

You will not be disappointed with that barrel. Jim does terrific work. So far all of mine he has built have been tack drivers.

Yes, the sling is a 550 cord one I made. I am pretty excited about this barrel boots. I have a 450 Bushmaster from him already and it shoots very good too.

Duh, I knew that. :stupid: I'd loose my head sometimes if it weren't attached. I knew that as we discussed your 450 before I had Jim make mine for me.

A little misinformation in the pm boots. Looks like the 450 loads shoot under 2" at 200.

Camo that barrel like the rest of that rifle, it looks great! Reminds me of Predator Camo. Let me know how it shoots for you! Looks like that 450 is a shooter too! Thanks guys!!!
