I found a Savage 11 for $250

Shoud I grab it? I have a all metal Ruger 10/22 with a Simmons scope on it to trade if this guy will work with me.

If it isn't a rust bucket, shot out or otherwise abused, I'd take a hard long look at it. That's a very attractive price.

I thought so too. I bought a 110 that was well used 3 years ago for $225. I used the action off of it fit my first Savage build. I picked the 10/22 for $100 because the seller needed money for Christmas and there is nothing wrong with it. Even had a scope!

What caliber is the 11? At that price you could pick it up and if you aren't happy just flip it. I would like to know where you shop people want your left arm for a 10/22 down here in FL.

The 11 is a .243. It's on Armslist and seems to be in good shape. I got lucky with the 10/22. One of my friends sold it to me. He originally want $50 for it but I have him $100

I'd go for it. I just got a model 10 in 243 and I'm very happy with it. Paid over double what you'd be paying.
