Heya. Got a few questions for you.
I know about dicks and newtown... not interested in that. I am how interested in this rifle . I believe it's based off of the model 11 trophy hunter.? Right
1. Stock options.
2. Other option on extended magazine. I've researched Dark Eagle and the rat mag.
Thanks a lot for your wealth of knowledge. I really appreciate it. Thanks again

For mags, CDI bottom metal and AICS mags come to mind.

For stock options pretty much anything you like as long as it fits your style action. That model is new enough its a 4.40" spacing for sure, don't recall where the bolt release is off the top of my head, so you are either looking for a 4.40" for a top release or a 4.40" for a trigger guard release.

Can't help you with stock options, but I can tell you that I bought one of these a little over a month ago. I have been extremely happy with it. So far it is stock out of the box. Accuracy has impressed me at 25 yds. I have not had the opportunity to trek out to the nearest outdoor range where I can stretch it's legs a little. The Accutrigger is very nice. Smooth as silk and was around 2 lbs from the factory.

I don't have any particular issues with the stock it came with, but would love to put a laminate thumbhole on it.

Head over the Boyds website. They are a site sponsor here and a great place to deal with. They should have a couple of nice options for thumbholes to choose from.

I've looked at their site. They are who I will be calling if and when I decide to switch stocks. Right now I just want to get familiar with the rifle before I start modifying it. I also need to get a good handle on the other things I will have to buy to mount the stock. I think I know what I need, just need to figure out the exact costs. I think that will require a call to Boyds, and to Savage.

For now, I am content to just get to know my new rifle.
