I did my best guys. I really need a new digital camera. These were taken with my Sony Cybershot. It doesn't have the pixel quality I would like, but on the plus side I'm not burning up a ton of bandwidth on the forum. I picked up a nice Harris 6"-9" Bi-Pod this morning from Cabela's. The one I have is too long for a heavy caliber rifle. The one thing I don't care for on this new Bushnell 3200 Elite Tactical Scope is they have gone to green numbers on the adjustment knobs. It's not bad, and I'm not trying to nit pick, but the white numbers were much easier to see in lower light conditions.

Anyway, I'm really happy with the way this rifle turned out. I really can't say enough good about the Bushnell 3200 Elite Tactical 5-15X Scope. I honestly can't come up with a better one that gives as much "bang for the buck". The Burris Signature Zee Rings mated up with the steel Burris Extreme Tactical Bases for just the right height. As you can see, the Butler Creek front Cap just clears the barrel. I bore sighted it about 10" high at 100 yards. To accomplish this I used a +.020 and a -.020 offset insert in the rear ring, and a -.010 and a +.010 offset insert in the front ring. Between the canted downward angle, along with the total elevation adjustment I have in the scope, along with the excellent Mil-Dot System, I should be able to hold dead on at very long ranges. This I'm really looking forward to! Anyway, for now it's all up to my handloads which I'll start loading tomorrow. It should be cooling off here soon, and I can't wait to get this thing lit up! Bill T.

Great looking rifle BillT,I know you will like how it shoots. The only thing I don't like about it is the bolt handle is on the wrong side,LOL. I really like shooting my 110 FLP 300 WM,especially after I put it in a Choate Ultimate Varmiter stock.

I find my 10FLCP-K a bit too heavy as a hunting rifle.

But it's super-awesome as a "tango down!" rifle. :D

Hey billt,

I just bought the exact same rifle, topped it with a Premiere Heritage 3-15x. Have you had any luck with your handloads? I've worked through differing charges with the Berger 210 VLD Match and Hornady 208 AMAX with disappointing results (best 5 shot 100 yard group about 1"). This is using new RWS brass and H1000 w/Wolf LRM primers. I have an older Savage 110 FP in 308 with a bedded stock that shoots groups about half that big. If you have any suggestions, please share.

I haven't had the chance to light this one up yet, and most likely won't until the cooler weather sets in around here sometime next month. It is just too non productive trying to shoot in 100+ degree temps here in Phoenix this time of year. I have another .300 Win. Mag. but it's in a sporter Remington Model 700 BDL. I've had the best luck with Sierra Matchkings in the 190 to 200 grain weights, and healthy doses of IMR 4831 powder. So most likely I'll start with something in that area. As soon as I print some groups with it, I'll post some pics and will let you know what works, and what doesn't. Bill T.

you live in phoenix, the weather is good now. i just went shooting this last weekend... for about 20min then went to Banner Estrella and had my appendix removed. it is hard to shoot good groups when you have chronic pain. spent the entire week wishing i could go shooting again.
btw I live in Buckeye
