Model 5 22 rifle

I have my father's Model 5 22 rifle. He bought it sometime after he got out of high school, but I think before WWII. Not sure of age. No serial number on rifle. I think he bought it new. Any information or value would be appreciated.

Why did you post this in the vintage centerfire section? Maybe the rimfire vintage section would be better.
Are you wanting to sell your Dad's 22? Id keep that.
Henerally a rimfire from that era is about $200. They were built well so a lot of them are still around. They aren't built like the plastic crap we see today.
