Mags for XLR Evolution

Hey Guys.

If this is the wrong forum, I apologize.

I just ordered an XLR Evo for the 10TR, so now I need magazines. XLR Industries cannot ship mags to Canada. Now, I have read that guys are using Ruger Scout 10rd metal mags in their chassis that accept AICS/AI mags (mainly Rem700 that I have read), so is it safe to assume the XLR will take them too? The metal ruger mags are cheaper than the AICS mags up here.

AICS, Alpha, McRee all fit. Not sure about the Ruger.

I have read the Ruger mags are made by Accurate Mag, and I see the stamp/engraving on the side (online photo). Apparently the AM mags are used as an OEM for some Savage models.

Spoke to a dealer of both....they work.

The 10rd Ruger mag fits as well as the 5rd AICS mag.

MDT has them for a good price. And MDT is a Canadian company.
