i notice a lot of people are asking questions about this so i apologize if this has already been asked. is there a reason why it says only 18-24" barrels? looking at it for a 12fv with the 26" barrel.

I guess some say it looks funny with a long barrel.

I have no idea what else it could be.

I have a couple with 26" barrels.

Mine looks fine with a 26" in there.

Going with the 18"-24" barrel will allow you to retain the most appealing "tactical" look, I guess? I have a 26" with a brake, so it is over 27", and it looks fine.

It may be more of a balance issue as you would not be able to get your rest or bipod out far enough.

Missed my have it. Balance.
Although, it is not a problem on either of mine, both have 26 inch varmint barrels, both shoot well. Never shot long range, though.

I don't think there's an issue, really.

Mine is a 26" bull fluted down to heavy varmint weight.

Thanks guys! I'm thinking maybe balancing also. nothing lead shot and superglue can't fix if it becomes an issue. I'm doubtful of that though.

By the way Snowgetter great looking rigs! pretty neat paint job on the first one.
