I have been in searching for a left hand SA rifle for my son. I have a opportunity to purchase a Model 11FL Hunter 7mm-08 22" barrel. Unfired new in box, for what I consider a good price.
It has a blind mag and Accu Trigger.
My question for the experts is does this model have the 1:9.5 twist?

The plan was to purchase any SA lefty I could find for good price (easier said than done) and build from there with a stock, trigger and barrel. However a 7mm-08 in the correct twist would be nice.

I have a Model 11 THXP (left handed) in 7-08...it has the 1:9.5 and I believe most, if not all, of the current production 11's in 7-08 have the 1:9.5...

Thanks for the reply, that's good to hear. This will be our first experience with the AccuTrigger, hope it is a good one. We will be changing out the Tupperware stock with a Boyd's Prairie Hunter or Classic.
I am also in process redoing my Wife's Model 11 youth 7mm-08 (1:11 20") we bought in 2003. Have a .308 barrel, Boyd's Prairie Hunter, and Rifle Basix trigger on order.

I have yet to even shoot my Model 11 in 7-08....it was one of those impulse buys...it was there, it was left handed and I didn't have a 7-08...hahaha and I got a smoking deal on it and it was barely used. I do have 2 other savages with the accu-trigger....a 93 in 17HMR and a Model 10 FLCP-K...and so far I really like them.

I am not sure when Savage stopped putting the 1:11 tubes on the 7-08, but don't believe any of the newer accu-trigger guns would have one...probably someone here smarter than me that would be more certain.
