Ordered a mag release button today, but I've got another question. This rifle has a 4 screw trigger in it. Which one adjust the trigger pull. It's a little to light for my taste. It has three screws in the back of the trigger and one in front.

Is the spring a long wire running along the side imof the assembly? If so, rhat can be turned down a 1/4 or 1/2 turn. See what that does for youn

I didn't see a spring running along the side, but again, I didn't look real close either. I'll have to check it and see. There is like a small wire/rod like thing running on the inside of the action when you take it completely out of the stock.

I found two cracks in the stock but have a friend who does excellent stock and blue work. Priced me a complete stock refinish and blue the action for $120.

The wire is the spring. One end is turned down into a screw, the other pushes up against the trigger for tension. Turn the screw that the spring is fitted into and it will lessen or tighten the pull. Make sure you turn it enough so the recess in the screw allows for a click from the spring/wire so it does not turn on you.
