Considering the first two B.mags I bought, and Savage still has one of them, I think I'll wait to see what kind of toad this turns out to be.

I'll have to pick one up. Then I can use my old B-Mag as a crowbar.....

Now I am upset :( haven't even loaded any brass in mine yet and a new one, should have just been buying ammo and waited on this one, at least the bull barrel look nice. savage should give us a bull barrel in blue to put on the one we have, I would open up my boyds stock more to make it fit free

I have been waiting for this to come out. I hope someone can get one and review it. I would love to know what all has changed on it. I will probably wait until we have some more info until I get one. While I know that I have no intentions of keeping the cheap stock, I would love to know if they updated some other things. Although because of the size of that barrel I would think they had to make some stock changes. Otherwise it would be twice as flimsy.

why does the new B-Mag not show up on the savage web site?

I see one, alternating with an Axis, in the main image position (if you are not accessing the "mobile version") although I don't know how new it is. I still consider the 22LRs "new".

Now if they would put a camo stock on it....

....and put the bolt handle on the other side.

I'm really happy I didn't buy one of the originals now.

Or any other stock besides the plastic POS.

There are 11 new SS / heavy barrel Bmags for sale on gun broker.com. Nothing on Savages web site about them ....strange.

Yeah, I agree, this is weird. I put in an order for the new SS jobbie 2 weeks ago at my favorite lgs. I might go there tomorrow and see what they have to say. I might just tell them to forget it and buy from GB, although, I always try to give the locals my $..... I'm pretty sure they buy from Ellet (spelling) Bros.

Are they all going for 400+$? I only paid 249.99 for my B-Mag,and would not spend more than 300-325$ for the new model !

MFG suggested retail is 409.00 I believe. So I would have to believe that $350 is going to the average price.
