Hey guys, just finished building my first 308 bolt gun, I'm now a savage fan.

Savage 110 long action
PTG fluted bolt/extended baffle/tac handle
McGowen 20" barrel
NSS nut and recoil lug
HS precision stock
CDI bottom metal with AICS mags
Acu trigger (2lbs)
EGW 20moa mount
Vortex PST 4-16x50/vortex precision rings/switch view
Harris bipod
SWR Specwar (still in NFA jail)

Armed in Utah

Really like the fluted bolt, the whole package looks good!....soon we will be seeing some targets right??? Lol I may have to check those scopes out, seein several people runnin them lately

Thanks guys. I'm 7rnds into the break in process, hopefully can get out Saturday and shoot some groups. Will post pics as soon as I have them.

Looks like a perfect build.If when you are experimenting with different weight bullets ,try the 168 grain match loads or bullets if you reload.

I'll give those a try, I also picked up a few hundred 178gr BTHP's that I've been shooting through my gas gun that I'll try through this too.

Just got it glass bedded, accuracy tightened up to 0.96moa. Will start to do some load development to see if I can get it even better
