Warrenty work

Has anyone had experience with Savage doing warranty work on a rifle that you are the second owner?

I have one that was born in September of 2013 and I am the second owner and it needs to be returned from what I have been reading of others with the same model having to return theirs for the same reason of what I'm experiencing with mine....

Bottom line am I out of luck with having it fixed under warranty seeing I'm owner number two?

No I don't believe you are. I don't know that I would share the fact that I am owner number two unless they specifically ask but I really don't think it matters. Worst case scenario they may charge you a bit to repair it, but Savage is normally good about taking care of their products for the most part.

Thanks boots, I was checking to see how others had maybe handled this situation.

I will test the waters to see how they respond to me.

This is for a rimfire that has some issues.
