I just received my new boyds featherweight thunmbhole today for my model 16. Stock looks nice, fit and finish is acceptable. I am having issues with the inletting of the bottom metal however. Has anyone else had this problem. Not sure whether I should just inlet it mysel or if I should send it back for a replacement. I also tried the bottom metal from a model 11 I have and it fits the same way so I know its the stock and not my bottom metal.
