I want to target shoot at 300 meters to start with then out to 500 meters. What bullet weight should i be useing for accuracy and consistancy rather than hitting power ? .

Does anyone have any load data for Subsonic 7.08 's ??.( For shorter range varmint shoots )

Heres a load i use in my rem. 26" HB barrel. Bullet 140gr nosler ballistic tip the red tip. 40.5 grs of RL-15 , setting deapth of 2.790, win. cases, ccibr2 primers. Best group was a .211 in size, so i know it is shooting under a 1/2" any time i do my part. But any time you look at some ones load start lower and work up to it to be safe ok.

Use 120grainers in a Stevens. Slow twist.

Like cleaky said, the newer rifles are a slower twist, I believe 1:11.25 twist instead of the 9.5? twist, so it probably won't stabilize the heavier match bullets. I have the same rifle, but haven't shot it yet. I was going to use the action for a project but found a ss action to use, so now I need to shoot it I guess. I was going to try 120 v-maxs and the 130 smk's to start. FWIW the 120 v-maxs with 45g of varget shoot great out of my friends encore so that is where I was going to start (a couple grains lower of course as 45g is a max in the manual).

The twist rate of this rifle is 9.5

Sweet then, use 140's. You might even get the 160 accubonds stabilised.
