I need a part from savage SEAR (RI) - P/N: 105741 $8.00 it says restricted to gunsmiths....my question is does anyone know how to obtain the waiver form.....there was a link to a waiver but it opened to savage hats.....does anyone have a copy or do I just wing it and fax a ststement.....thanks

It is my understanding that if you are capable of writing a semi intelligent letter that sounds like something a lawyer would like to read emphasizing your personal responsibility and lack of liability towards Savage you should be good. I don't know this first hand but from the samples I've seen here and from what I hear it works. Good luck.

they don't have it ........this sear is for the new accutrigger which has the bolt release as part of the sear in the trigger

They will tell you what the letter needs to say, they just need you to release them from responsibility in case you're half the gunsmith you thought you were and something bad happens.
