Fitting Savage Emblem to Boyds Axis stock

A little cosmetic improvement for the boyds stock.

Removed the Savage emblem from the Axis stock, and fitted it to the Boyds.

It is a tight fit, so use some tape and mark it out.

Then find a cutter for the dremel the right size to cut a track and remove some timber to allow the emblem to sit in the timber. (Take your time so you don’t let the dremel grab and walk over the stock… yes yes I learnt the hard way :frusty: )

Now do a trial fit. Then using 24hr glue set it in place and let it dry, I used a zip tie to keep it in place.

Not to my knowledge - my stock is for a Model 11 but I am going to look into this for my stock. Sorry if I gave anybody the wrong idea.
