I would like to try the bolt lift mod on my Model 16.

Am I correct in assuming that I can replace my BAS and firing pin assembly with the old style parts and have a bolt suitable for the 38SPL + bearing bolt lift mod?

Assuming this is feasible, I have searched without success for a non-cocking indicator BAS in stainless. Does someone have a model number that came from the factory with such. Or better yet, the actual part number for the stainless BAS?

you will have to change the firing pin assembly, the cocking piece sleeve& the BAS
just bought 2 stainless BAS from Numrich arms, they should have the cocking sleeves also
when installing a bolt lift kit, measure your cocking piece sleeve with the lift kit on it,
then cut that amount off of your BAS

I would greatly appreciate your sharing the Numrich product number. I am having difficulty determining which is the one without the cocking indicator hole.

Thanks,
JB
