I know longer barrels have their place on a hunting rifle but this on looks a bit long. The scope appears to be a Huskemaw 5-20x50 which is 13.6" long. As near as I can figure this barrel is 30' long. This deer was taken in Pa. which is not really known for 1000 yd shots.

Methinks a BIT too long UNLESS has to be that long for the bullet OR what is the round caliber,

Those are some long looking cartridges on the buttstock. I'm guessing it's set up for 1,000 yard shooting.

Isn't the Original 1,000 Yard Benchrest Match held in Pennsylvania ?

30-inch barrel barely makes it out of the carbine class.

Yep, It's pretty cool to watch guys shooting across a valley from one hill to another.

Now that's what you call a smoke-pole.

Wow, now that is one long barrel. Looks way to long for that tight of cover.
