Question, what is the ball thingy on the bottom of the stock grip

I've seen this pistol on two different forums now and keep wondering the same thing

Op, what action is it made out of? I see the target action red trigger.

It looks like a right bolt left hand eject target action to me

The thingy sticking out of the bottom of the grip is a mono-pod that fits into a block with a radius that matches the ball. It is a dual-port undesignated savage target action with a McGowen barrel chambered in 6.5 x 47 Lapua and a JP recoil eliminator. Stock is a Gen II 7Finger Chassis

I compete against rifles in 1000yd steel plate match competitions with this pistol. My nickname is seven fingers because I am missing three fingers on my left hand and my objective is to slay as many rifle shooters as possible on match day. :-)
