Hello F Classer's .......
We'll be holding our monthly match at the CTSA Range, New Braunfels, TX on 1 March 2014. This is an NRA Approved Course and club membership / NRA membership is not required. Registration ends at 0730 hrs, 1 March 2014. All NRA F Class rules apply. However, our club offers a "Challenger Category" for those who would like to compete with suppressors / breaks. The course of fire is the following:

5 min unlimited sighting period
3 shots for sighting on paper target
15 shots for record score

$15 per relay - we'll run 4 to 5 relays of shooters. Last month we ran 40 rifles.

Would this happen to be located at Dies gun shop ? Also the silhouette range for NRA?

Howdy Ken,

I didn't realize you were the Ken from the range down there!

I think its a 3 hour run down there for me.

I may try to make one after April. It is the closest F class to me. Ok so the Challenger class is for brakes and supressors, it is not exactly F class legal right?

I keep forgetting to get a thread protector for my rifle so I can pull the brake off the 308

when I was stationed at FT. Hood in the early 80's my buddy Gary and I would come down to shoot NRA silhouettes.

Missed -
Come on down and enjoy the shoot! The Challenger Category is not an NRA F Class official category, nor will those scores be sent to the NRA. Breaks / Suppressors are not allowed in F Class.

I'll try to make it in the spring. By then I might remember to order a thread protector!

So each relay is sighters and 15 shots? So bring 100rnds ? Hmm I could shoot ftr and open if I bring my 308 and 22-250!
