mag box and clip

hi all picked up a 110 trophy hunter in 270 to use for the action...... I bought a bbl from J Briggs in 257 roberts I bought a long action varmint stock blind box from Numrich.....my question is can I use the detachable box by just removing the bottom or is this mag too large.....thanks

It should be the same as along as the stock is for either a centerfeed for a centerfeed action to begin with or stagger to stagger so to speak. You can modify anything to work like going from stagger to centerfeed or vice a versa.What mag do you have?If you have a stagger feed then the box is different as it is held by slots in the action.

centerfeed so I need to buy the clip that is held in by the action screw so a 270 box should work for a 257 roberts
