Stock on 10fp-sr

Hey all,

here's my question for all the experts out there, hehe.
I'm thinking about either making my stock a external mag or buying a new one. Is it something that can be done by a somewhat a novice (never done it before), take it to a Smith or be best to buy new stock? I have no issues with the stock other than Id like to have it be an external box feed. I've done my own paint job so I'd like to keep it if possible.

What stock do you have , is it the HS precision

Frank, no it's the regular stock, non accustock. I'm going to have it bedded either way.

I would have liked to have been able to get the one with the HS stock but at the time I was on a budget, and still am.
