I just talked to the people at Mueller, and they said that they have made a couple of revisions to the scope, and the new one should be clearer.

82boy, should I call them to see if my scope needs to go back? I just got it not more than a month ago. Did this change just happen?

Well don't panic, I would say if your scope is doing fine than it is fine. No need to call or send it back. The revisions are just a changes in the newer models. Fortunately scopes are not like computes that always need upgraded. ;) This is to be expected when any new product comes out, they change things, and it becomes a process of betterment. They change things either because it is cheaper to do it the new way, or it fixes a problem, or could be that it is something that just happens as production is switched to different places such a plants or companies. Just because they change something don't mean that there is a problem.

Unfortunate mine took a dump, (right out of the box. Not the first time I had a brand new scope that was faulty, All by other makers, this is common, and just my luck) and this is how I found the information out. The new scope will have a shorter eye relief, which will cut down on the field of view, (Making what you see outside the target area smaller) but should be clearer. It will be out in a couple of weeks.

I put a Mueller Eraticator on my 110FLP earlier this year, and it is a decent scope. It does get cloudy when you crank up the power past 18X but it is a cheap scope. It holds very well, even on this 300WM shooting max handloads. First full day of shooting, around 200rds,and it never failed to keep right on target. So far it has lasted with over 500rds out of the rifle.
Now I just have to figure out what other gun will get it since I just got my Swarovski PH 4-16x50 to put on this gun.

Judging from the pictures and the adjustmant range quoted I would have to guess no on the 30MM question.

I have one of the 8-32x44 Muellers I like it a lot. Yes, it has a 30mm tube. It's on a Savage single-shot model 12 VLP in .223, and I have noticed a little shift in parallax from even this very mild recoil. Not a problem in the kind of shooting I use it for, and a quick & easy correction with the side focus. The image is still crisp & clear ar the full 32x magnification.

The Mueller 8x32x44 scope is a 30MM tube and has 40MOA total adjustement. So if it was opticaly centered you would only have 20MOA travel each direction.

We can't mount your harddrive, the contrast probably wouldn't be clear ;D

I have two Mueller scopes. I like the eradicator, for the 230.00 I paid for it , no complaints. The other one is a 8.5x 25 mil-dot.That scope is more eye rellief sensitive. I live in michigan so one day a while back I called Mueller as his factory is in northern mi where I was born and raised. We talked for at least a half hour about scopes and other subjects. :This guy seems to be the real deal, said he wo;uld take care of any problems on his products, and basically made me confident ins his product. I would not hesitate to buy another of his scopes.

I put one of the 8x32 Muellers on my 22LR Target rifles, I like it a lot very clear to 32x and tracks well. I'm going to put it on one of my LR Coyote guns and try it out at distance one of these days.
