View Full Version : Steven Model 200 BOLT FACE ???

Anybody got any clues about the markings on this bolt face.. Its out of a 308 caliber rifle thats got about 200 rounds down the tube....

it was machined pretty rough around the edge but shouldn't be anything to worry about.

I am seeing this more often as of lately. I think in an effort to up production to keep up with demand the last couple of years this is one of the ways Savage is keeping up the pace, by letting small things that have no bearing on the functionality of the rifle slip through.

It should not hurt a thing.
