i have a old 110e in 243 got it for cheap and plan on just making it predator/ truck gun. Question is i got 110 synthetic stock blind mag, staggered feed to replace the wood stock cause its scratched up real bad. The barred action drops right in and the screws line up and everything, when screws tight the front action screw is to long and won't let the bolt open. Also when tight there is a some play in the for end of the stock. kinda new to all this but enjoy tinkering with things. any help would be great or ideas?

You can easily grind the screw down so that it does not contact the bolt when torqued down...But I believe the play in the stock you mention is the nature of the beast with factory synthetic stocks (that is why they are referred to as tuperware stocks)....If you do some searches in these forums you may find some where the factory synthetic stocks have been stiffened up...Or you can always buy a better quality aftermarket stock (the sky is the limit $$)....

Good luck,
Randy

I prefer a cherry oak finish, original is better
