Anyone know the meaning of these letters:

When I go to Partfinder and search my serial # from my 110 .30-06, it comes back as, 'MOD 110GXP3 30-06 AT'.
I know it's a 110 Accutrigger, anyone can see that by simply looking at the rifle and it's barrel stampings.

But, what does 'GXP3' mean??? Just curious.

Maybe I'm not the one to answer, but somebody else will probably help here. Basically it's a 110G (birch stock) package gun (with scope) version #3 of the package guns at that time. I think I get you close anyway.

G is wood stock

xp3 is a package gun with scope(probably cheap bushnell or simmons)

Ok, did have a Simmons 8point when I got it.
And it's a wood stock. If birch has flecks, that's it! If not, probable beech then...
