Feed ramp

Has anyone else had a problem with the feed ramp on their Axis? When using the magazine there is no problem but when I try to load single feed I pretty much have to put bullet halfway in so bolt will close.

hmmm... that be about right. If I single feed I push the round in as far as I can.

This is only an issue for me with short loaded rounds. I have never had this issue with long loaded round. I mainly use 168gr and 175gr match ammo. My reloads OAL is at 2.8 or slighly longer.

Don't forget, when feeding from a magazine there's a spring shoving the round upward while the bolt is shoving it in the chamber. Also, it comes out of the mag & into the chamber on a bit of an angle.
With the bullet being the "heavy end" of the cartridge, it will want to nosedive when feeding by hand.
