? About which scope base for new rifle!

My savage conquest will be starting this year! I will be purchasing the Savage 12LRP in .260, and my question is, I want a Ken Ferrell 20moa steel base, just don't know which one? Any help would be appreciated!

Is the model 12 lrp action a round front and rear or a round front with flat rear?

it is round/round , save yourself some money & buy a EGW base

The aluminum bases are just as strong as steel, and lighter.
