1 piece scope mount ?

Hi all,
I am considering getting a 1 piece scope mount for my 111. I see EGW makes an inexpensive one made of Aluminum. Is the Aluminum fine? Or should I be looking at a steel one?

I just purchased the EGW for my 111. I think it is the cats meow ;D !! Gives you plenty of adjustment for eye relief.

I have the EGW waiting to go on my 7mm along with SS tactical low rings and a 20x SS scope all I need now is for my stock to come from Joel Russo so I can put it all together.
You can also get a one piece Leupold base and use your Burris rings.

EGW is fine. I have both Farrell steel and EGW aluminum one piece bases. Both do well.
