OK I have now figured out which scope, mount and rings I want for my new 10 FCP-K .308.
1. SWFA Super Sniper 10x42
2. EGW one piece HD 20 MOA scope base
3. Burris Signature 30 mm Zee rings.

With this set up even though the Burris 30 mm Signature Zee rings are some of the lowest I can find, I figure I will have at least 3/4" of space between the bell and the barrel.
I think this is too much space but I have no other ideas on how to get the scope lower to the barrel.
I don't want to go with two piece mounts , so does anybody have any other ideas, or does this sound OK?
Thanks

A o moa base will get you out past 1k with the scope you are buying.Remember that scope had over a 100 moa adjustment.
I have 4 different SS 20x mounted on the burris 2 piece bases and xtr low rings and still have just enough clearance for scope caps.

I see this as good excuse to by an adjustable cheek rest!

Ya might wanna think about Burris XTR's. The lows are ~1/4", mediums are ~1/2", highs ~3/4". Line 'em with black tape and you have no ring marks on your tubes. If you're gonna use an Super Sniper, you should be able to use XTR lows without any problems. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies.
Actually the 30 mm medium signature zee rings are very slightly lower that the XTR low rings.
Go figure.
