model 11 sa accutrigger question

Hello all

I picked up a hog hunter model 11, in 308 today. I was looking for a short action with a center feed magazine for a while and now I have it in hand. I wanted a target action in a repeater but no dice. It will be made into a 6xc. I just need a barrel and the other goodies to go with it.

My question is I wanted the target trigger but It didnt work out that way. Can anyone tell me what parts I would need to get to put the target trigger accutrigger in this action. My gs will order anything I need if i can find the numbers.

One more thing does anyone know the wait time on getting a action timed and trued by sss. People that have had it done , does it help smooth out the action a bunch. I dont know what to expect

The sear spring P/N is the same for a standard Accutrigger, I verified this through Savage Part Finder.

The entire 6oz trigger part number is 107323. Very reasonably priced.

thanks hotolds442 , thats the whole target trigger assy. Its the 1 1/2lb to 6oz or something like that . or just a straight 6

It's adjustable down to 6oz. $62.00. Go to the parts finder and enter serial number G933425 and click on assembly #3

Just over $100 gets you the entire 6oz bench rest trigger, including the red sear stop. Now all you gotta do is get Savage to sell it to you.

Youll need to use your trigger frame, I haven't found a part number for that yet but I'm still looking.

You asked for the "Target" trigger spring P/N, sounds like you want the Bench trigger? That is a different animal completely.

The Target trigger spring is a simple swap and goes down to 1.5 lbs, the other requires a complete trigger assembly to duplicate from what I understand.

Im looking to find the whole trigger trigger on it exactly like the ones on the single shot target actions, I shot the 6.5-284 f class rifle and the trigger is amazing. thats the plan to change the entire trigger assy , I would love to have it on my upcoming 6xc

You'll need a few more parts than that.
and AZ is correct, these are the Benchrest trigger parts, not the Varmint (or Target) trigger parts. It will include the red sear stop.

I'm working on the target trigger parts next.

ok whats the diffrence between the benchrest trigger and the target trigger. I knew the red blade triggers diffrent but i figured the gold and silver blade ones were the same.
