Wild pig

Does anyone know of any public land around Kern county to hunt for pig. Or even any private land that don't charge $600 a weekend just to hunt for them. Been out looking around the foothills and all the pigs a see are on private land. Any help with this would be great

I worked in Bakersfield in kern county for a while and all the oilfield guys i knew were big into pig hunting in Kern county. They all said that all the pigs on public land only come out at night time, so they hunted on private land mostly
