Mounting scope on 93R17GV

Bought a new one yesterday and am anxious to go afield. However, this model of course, has the scope mounts already in place.
Is it necessary that I remove the blocks and Locktite the threads, or has this already been done at the factory ? What is your experience ?

BTW: What ammo does the Savage .17 HMR like ?

It cant hurt to use Locktite, better to do it now than sight it in and have an issue. I have a BTVSS sighted in with the 17 grain Hornady. We ran about 500 rounds in it before it settled down. It still get a flyer when the barrel is hot.
