112 BVSS 300 Win Mag

What are your thoughts? I am replacing barrel on my 112 BVSS with new barrel. I think McGowen is about the extent of my choices due to prairie dog hunt approaching in early June. So what are your thoughts on McGowen Barrels and would you go 26 or 28 inches. It will need to be stainless match, 1- 10 twist.
