AICS vs factory DBM 4.4 question

I want to inlet a medalist stock for my factory 4.4 Savage DBM but later I plan on upgrading to the AICS accurate mag setup but I want to make sure the factory setup isn't wider than the AICS so I don't take too much out of my stock.
My question is can someone measure both for me and for those who have done it does any of the aluminum need to be removed or just the stock material? Does it just have to be a straight hole opened up or if there more?

They look to measure the same or within a couple hundredths. 1.39" wide. The length I just measured from the center of the front screw to the front of the inlet and it measured the same on both .86" .
I measured this on a LWH and a FCP-SR. I may not be savvy enough to give you the numbers you need. The FCP-SR has the Accurate-Mag bottom metal that can use the aics mags.

It sounds to be what I'm asking for. Hopefully my hunter XP will have the same measurements when I get it tomorrow
