Just wondering if I'm the only one that likes their trigger pull weight in the 2lb range. I have a target only rifle that I use for egg shoots and I think it feels crisper at a higher poundage. I know it goes against the norm, as everyone tries to get their pull weights down as low as they can, but in my experience it takes away from the breaks like glass feel. Am I alone in this ?

Nope. I hunt predators year round with gloves on, so 2 pounds keeps me from setting off before I actually feel it through the gloves.

Cool, I like it cause it helps simulate real hunting situations as well. I see some guys don't even touch their rifles (free recoil style) when they shoot. So they want a breath on it trigger. I shoot to improve my hunting / shooting skills.

+1. I like 2-2.5# triggers. i always turn the wieght up to that, id rather have crisp with no creep and a little heavier any day. Im not a believer in the whole "you should be suprised when your gun goes off" method

5 lb stage off hand ;-)
2nd stage is about 1.5 to 2 lbs
Like to tighten everything up and squeeze.

I keep everything (target and hunting) at a 2 pound no creep pull.

My target rifles are set to 2lb. it's good enough for me, plus I don't worry about slam fires something I do worry about with an extremely light trigger pull.

I'm just a casual target shooter, no hunting, so I like the trigger pulls at 2 to 2.5 pounds.

2 lbs on all my rifles, that's what I've been going with for years and that's what I'm use to.

All my rifles are in the 2-2.5 pound range, and it works for me. Wouldn't want any lighter for the colder months when I'm shooting with gloves on.
