West Texas Big Bobcat contest

We hunted it again this Jan. with great results. There were 201 teams that entered, the largest number so far. Also it had the largest payout ever in Texas. We called in and shot our cat before dark on sat. and didn't check in till Sunday at 11am. and it still topped the scales at 34.8#. We were excited to finally make a 1st place showing at the biggest contest in the state and the money sure helped too. After 25 yrs of doing varmint contest I've finally done the ultimate and won at San Angelo. BTW I bought a new Savage Predator Hunter in 22-250 with scope to add to my arsenal. I'll top it off with a new Leupold VX-R 4-12x50 with the FireDot Duplex.

Nice cat that thing is huge. I have seen a few here in Florida and none of them have ever been much bigger then a large house cat 15-20# range. My co worker has a 23# tabby at his house I have threatened to shoot!
