What are you trying to look up exactly?

If you are looking for value, then check gunbroker.com and similar auction sites and that will give you the best estimate of value. If you are looking for features then the above list will tell you. If the have the model number (ex: 11GNS, which means Model 11 with wood stock and No Sights) then use the list to see what features you have, otherwise use the list to work backwards to find your model number.

A G in the serial number does not indicate anything but year of manufacture. You need to have Savage run your serial number, they will give you a model number that will indicate the options. Series G stamped on the barrel also does not indicate options.

The G in your serial number has nothing to do with model type,That is the year.

I just email savage to get all the information from my rifle I have sights on and one of the adjustment screws was striped when cabala's tried to put a new scope on it (long story) Needless to say I want to get some different iron sights for it and need to know all the info so that I can order them so then I can get a new scope with see through rings so I don't miss a deer like I did this year because of a fogged scope (Don't buy cabela brand scopes you get what you pay for lesson learned)

According to the Savage Arms Partsfinder, You have a Model 111F, which is a Round Rear, Accu-trigger, blind magazine, open sight equipped rifle chambered in 30-06 in blued steel all resting in a standard synthetic plastic stock.

You can view this by entering your serial number here in the Savage Arms partsfinder.

I put my serial number in the parts finder and says its a 111BG [AT] Satin.

I am assuming that the BG stands for "Laminate Hardwood", but not sure about the AT.

I will say that the "Partsfinder" is not always 100% correct. It has been stumped and just flat out wrong before.

Well, I guess that works out. LOL.

AT could stand for Accu-trigger, but I can't say I have ever seen another one labeled as such. Perhaps that's how some of the first Accu-Trigger equipped units were marked and then they dropped it?

Accu-trigger?
You might be on to something. And yes it does have one.2003 is the first year and that's the year of my rifle.
