It's sloppy and needs love from a polishing wheel/grinder....Or just flat out replaced.
Who makes one? Any ideas?

I know there isn't much hype around the 64, but I'm here to say it's an awesome rimfire! Performs quite well in all rigors I've been able to safely put it through.

Email Mike. I put his kit on my wife's 64 TRR-SR soon after getting it.

Sir, you are all about some Mod 64 upgrades! Kudos!

BUT! $30 for two springs??? I've got old guitar string I could use for that! (since they say they use music wire):noidea:

I think I'll just strip it down and give her a good cleaning, then tinker with my polishing wheel on the trigger parts.

I took my 64 apart, cleaned her up real nice and totally changed the way it operates. Smooth operator now!

I did find what made it so sloppy. Reason was the metal that everything attaches to and centered around the group was gapped at the back of the trigger. So I squeezed it shut and viola! The trigger lost most of it's play side-to-side, still a lot of stack/creep til the striker falls, but I don't think there's much I can do there.
