New here, with a question about a 25-06 (serial number A593XXX - 1970?) I picked up last week. Bolt lift when the rifle is not cocked is very stiff. This is the first 110 I've ever handled, so I have nothing to judge the bolt's resistance against.
I'm really quite taken with the gun; the metal is in excellent condition (wood's a bit banged up, though), and it wears a Balvar5 scope. Anxious to shoot it. Any suggestions or comments?
