Can somebody run a quickload for me?

243 win
95 Gr Berger VLD hunting
26" 1-8 twist
Standard Primer
VV N160 powder

Currenly running 42 Gr at a COAL of 2.765" (.005 of lands on my throat) , the drop shows me i'm running around 2950 and no pressure signs. no published load data for this combo, so just seeing how much higher i could go. My gut instinct, and looking at other data, tells me max load should be around 44 gr but just want see if someone could run the numbers for me

Much appreciated.

Every rifle/chamber will be different...i'd suggest you work up slowly in .2 grain increments until you see signs of pressure of you lose accuracy.

Max load should be very close to the same as H4831, roughly 44.5 compressed. You weren't far off.

Great. i just didnt want the max to be like 46-47 gr and not know it and waste a bunch of time doing .2 incriments. i got some loaded up in increments up to 43.5, if it still shoots good at that ill probabaly keep it there, that should give about 3150 or so. With a BC of .486 and 3/8 MOA 5 shot groups, this may turn out to be 1000 yard rifle for a 650$ worth of parts to build. best 650$ i ever spent
