There is an estate auction coming up in my area on January 25th, and the estate is selling off a 95 gun collection. Does anything on the auction list look like a 'must have'? http://auctionspecialistsstoughton.com/oberggun012514.htm

Not really any "must-haves" as far as I am concerned. They are all pretty common. But if it were near me, I'd look up the best prices online (someone like Bud's)and go see what they go for at the auction. You might get some great opportunities.

Marlin 60.
Great little rifle for small critters & teaching the kids / grandkids.

Providing you can locate any .22LR.

Winchester model 92 25-20 would be neat only because of the octagon barrel

I personally would snag all 3 of the Model 600 Remington's, and the Model 100 Winchester, and I'd give the 1911 wi/pearl grips a good look.

S&W 38 Cal revolver might be worth a look, particularly if it was a P&R model. Same with the Winchester 1892 depending on condition.

Lot of nice shooter grade weapons listed but depends on what your objective is.

The Browning 380 might be a BDA, made by Beretta. If so, it's a nice pistol.

There are a few cool vintage guns in there. Value is depending on condition.

M12 16ga., Remington 600, (all three), M92 Winchester and the Marlin 410 simply because the 3 digit serial number leads me to believe it might be one of the original dealer giveaways. I would look at all these before the auction and bid until the price got too high or until I ran out of $$. Most of the time around here guns at auctions bring far in excess of what they should.

I'd go for the Dan Wesson .357! You don't see many of them for sale, well, I don't around here anyway. Might as well buy a 10/22 since they make up half the list! haha!
If there's a Sweet 16, BUY IT! There's a huge resale margin if you get it cheap.

I used to work at a pawn shop and have seen museum quality pieces pawned and sold for next to nothing, dirty junkies! I know an SKS is nothing special, but when all the SN's match, the stamping marks match, and in wood, I say it's a cool gun! Saw a Mauser with eagle/swastika's on the barrel and receiver once too! Cool guns!!
