Stupid question...disassemble factory DBM mag

I am 600 miles away from my rifle, so please forgive me for this (probably) stupid question.

How does one remove the floor plate from a factory steel DBM magazine?

Squeeze on the sides of the metal magazine box to release tabs on bottom plate from notches in magazine box.
